I have to admit, I am so envious that you got to read this!!! I have a hold on it at my library, but there are about 50 people in line ahead of me. It sounds fantastic! I love the idea of using it for book club with both kids and their parents.

It's interesting that you say this one wasn't too emotional-- it seems like a lot of readers have sobbed buckets over it! But I'm with you... this book was emotional for me, but not too emotional. It didn't completely wreck me. Which, actually, I appreciate! I thought it was brilliant, in any case.
